• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS certification (Level C)
• Must have completed a physical assessment course within past 5 years
• Must have current or recent clinical experience within the last 2 years in acute surgical nursing
• Recent Pre-op Planning experience (in the last 6 months) is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
• Demonstrated skill and knowledge of I.V. Therapy and venepuncture is required
• Demonstrated effective communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team and independently
• Demonstrated effective communication skills
• Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and availability
