162483-67 - ONA Transfer Form - RN - RFT & TFT - Surgery - Endo
PLEASE NOTE: ONA Transfer Forms are valid between January 1st and Dec 31st each year, therefore you must complete one each year to be included in this process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Course required from an accredited college or proof of enrolment at start of orientation
- Candidates must have current or recent Endoscopy experience of at least two years, including E.R.C.P. Current being within the last 6 months
- Working knowledge of endoscopic equipment and its care is required along with excellent aseptic technique is required
- Consideration will be given to candidates who have current experience in an acute surgical or critical care setting and are willing to complete an orientation program in the technical and support roles required in Endoscopy
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to care for patients under conscious sedation is required
- Demonstrated clinical assessment and patient/ family teaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and availability
