PLEASE NOTE: ONA Transfer Forms are valid between January 1st and Dec 31st each year, therefore you must complete one each year to be included in this process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
- Current or recent clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging (within the last 3 years).
- Clinical experience or knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in emergency situations.
- Demonstrated clinical assessment and patient/family teaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge of I.V. therapy and catheter work is required.
- Current CPR registration.
- Candidate must have no limitations with respect to standing on their feet for extended periods of time while wearing heavy lead aprons and assisting in interventional procedures.
- Candidate must have a willingness to work in an environment where high dose radiation or high dose radioactive materials are being used.
- Candidate should have no contra-indications to working in a high magnetic field environment.
- Clinical experience with conscious pediatric and adult sedation and experience with contrast media.
- Experience with wound care and catheter care.
- Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and availability.
