Position Summary:

The Credentialed Trainer will contribute according to their respective area of clinical, business, or research expertise. The Credentialed Trainer consistently delivers assigned duties and tasks by expected  deadlines following quality standards. Credentialed Trainers use the curriculum, lessons and training materials created by certified Principal Trainers (PT) to train end users.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.   Credentialing

  • Complete the six-week credentialing program and pass the exam with at least 85%.
  • Deliver a training presentation to the credentialing panel.

2.   Training– Primary Responsibility

  • Prepare training rooms and logistics before sessions.
  • Track and document attendance.
  • Deliver engaging, instructor-led training using a standardized curriculum.
  • Assess learner competency, document results, and provide remediation (up to 3 attempts if needed),
  • Follow up on training questions.
  • Adjust training based on audience needs and feedback.

3.   Scheduling

  • Help plan and coordinate end-user training sessions.
  • Process training requests and organize logistics (course, room, trainer).
  • Track attendance and training participation.
  • Communicate confirmations and notify managers if learners miss sessions.
  • Maintain the training schedule and lab bookings.

4.   Go-Live Support

  • Provide on-site support to users during system go-live.
  • Conduct unit/department rounding to assist staff during early rollout.

5.   End User Support & Adoption

  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff.
  • Identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities in training.
  • Help update lesson plans, tip sheets, and eLearning materials.
  • Facilitate workshops and preference labs.
  • Promote proper system use and discourage inefficient workarounds.
  • Offer at-the-elbow support and assist with administrative tasks related to training modules.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Clinical Field, Adult Education, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Experience in adult education or training preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage adult learners.
  • Ability to deliver training to groups of varying sizes and adapt to different learning needs and challenging situations.
  • Technical aptitude and comfort with technology, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of organizational workflows in healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with Dovetale system and Epic software preferred.
  • Experience with projects or system implementations preferred.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability, willingness to learn, and openness to change.
  • Commitment to supporting the system implementation and representing the team positively.
